The Hassler Roma: a family hotel; tradition – innovation – future for all the jewels of the Wirth family
Roberto Wirth Jr. and Veruschka, twin sons of Roberto E. Wirth who recently passed away, introduce themselves to the world of hôtellerie respectively as he and she as Chief Executive Officer “The Hassler is in our DNA. Since childhood we have breathed the hotel and its dynamics, an intertwining of work, home, passion that has always seen all family members involved “.
Twins, born in 1992, Roberto Jr. and Veruschka are now facing new and important challenges, in the pursuit of innovation and continuity with tradition. A fundamental step in entrepreneurial history, aimed today at consolidating a group (The Gems of Roberto E. Wirth), of complementary realities from a hotel company perspective, with very significant future developments.
An Italian hotel brand, which has in its portfolio, in addition to the Hassler, the Palazzetto in Rome, the Hotel Vannucci and Borgo Bastia Creti in Umbria and Parco del Principe in Tuscany.
Born in Rome in 1992, after studying in Switzerland at the Glion Institute of Higher Education, one of the most prestigious hospitality management schools in the world, their paths diverge: Veruschka in Boston begins her journey in a prestigious hotel and then he specialized in London by attending a Master in Brand Development, while Roberto Jr. began his professional experience within important international brands of high hospitality in London, Washington and Prague: “We knew that our destiny was here “say Roberto Jr. and Veruschka.
Thus, in 2017 Roberto Jr. decides to return to Italy to begin his professional adventure alongside his father within the Hassler, to whom he will give, thanks also to his enthusiasm and his background, a further international boost. In 2019, on the other hand, Veruschka, thanks to his experience, begins to manage the Parco del Principe in Tuscany, a neo-Gothic villa of the late 1800s, in full autonomy and with great results.
“Our commitment is to maintain, continue and develop the path taken by our father and, therefore, to maintain the Hassler as an independent hotel, with its own character, its own personality and history. The true secret of our tradition. of family is the love and passion for work “.
The set goal is, therefore, to enhance the structures by bringing the right level of innovation in full respect of the roots. They have no doubts about their future objectives: to become increasingly green and sustainable with concrete actions and projects, to create an exclusive SPA inside the Hassler and to reconvert, through renovations, a cave located within the ancient walls that overlook the Hassler’s internal garden.
The future? “Continue to grow in Italy and in the world and bring a dynamic vision” in order to best express our know-how while fully respecting the tradition that our family has been carrying on for 5 generations “. The common thread will be excellence.
