An evening of refined elegance at the Hotel Billia in Saint Vincent was the scene, on November 19th, of the awarding of the prestigious Order of Merit awards to the 14 most brilliant ambassadors of an absolute dedication to the profession and to the mission of making hospitality an art

Enhance and spread the culture of drinking.
This is the objective of the Order of Merit, the recognition established since the early 2000s. An initiative that has been able to transform over time into what is now a highly anticipated moment of high representation for the entire national bar industry.

Awarded by Danilo Bellucci, in concert with the honorary committee, this year in the refined setting of the Hotel Billia in Saint Vincent there were 14 of the most shining representatives of the excellence of Italian hospitality, for the world of bars, called to take on this title.

Among the women, Vanessa Vialardi stood out. Above all, with particular emphasis, the presence of Maurizio Stocchetto, patron of the Bar Basso in Milan. But the list this year includes: Tommaso Cecca, Mauro Duse, Adriano Malu, Palo Manzini, Paolo Mascarucci, Alessandro Orzes, Giacinto Tanese.

And also special mentions such as “Magister Hospitalitatis” to Damiano De Crescenzo, general manager of the Planetaria Hotels company and those of “Magister Dixit”, for communication in the world of bars, to Rossella De Stefano, Melania Guida and Federico Silvio Bellanca.

This year too, Spiridione Ripaldi, a prominent and highly competent master of ceremonies, will be conducting and artistic direction.

The Order of Merit ceremony and the 110 cum laude competition were broadcast live by Strixia, on the official channels of the two events.

Real multimedia testimonies available over time, because if on the one hand with Order of Merit we want to highlight those women and men who today we can define as real “lighthouses” of reference for the young generations of bartenders and for future hospitality professionals, 110 cum laude, aims above all to be, for the world of bars, a reference manifesto for those values of Italian hospitality that have always been recognized internationally as cornerstones of hospitality.

The following technically supported the event: Calvisius, Cesarini Sforza, Flamigni e Aperitivo Italiano, Fonte Plose, Mottura Vini del Salento, PeB Line, Piazza Effebi, Red Bull and The Organics by Red Bull, Trabo, Toso and Sirman.
