6 Art cocktails at the Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort
Also referred to as the “Resort Museum“, the San Domenico Palace in Taormina, a Four Seasons hotel, boasts an artistic heritage of over 500 classic and contemporary works.
Today, a unique piece by the artist Sergio Fiorentino is added to these. The work takes the name of Frammento Greco, installed in the suggestive Ancient Cloister. Sergio Fiorentino is a well-known Sicilian artist, acclaimed throughout the world for his recognizable style, linked to classical and religious icons.
The inaugurated work adds to the other works already exhibited in the hotel. That is, Portrait of a Saint which illuminates the Bar area of the Bar & Cloister and a Portrait of a Saint which embellishes the San Domenico Suite.
However, to exhibit the majestic work Frammento Greco (consisting of 4 parts), Sergio Fiorentino chose the Chiostro Antico, the oldest part of the hotel, dating back to the end of the 14th century.
