DaV Mare: the new seasonal menu

The proposal of DaV Mare, the restaurant of Splendido Mare, now offers an unprecedented union of the coast of Portofino with the richness of the hinterland and the mountains.

Tasty contaminations arise between grilled octopus, artichokes and horseradish and encounters with excellence from other regions in proposals such as Carmagnola rabbit in cooking oil, pine nut sauce and green beans. A

longside the classics such as the Carosello Portofino and the evergreen CondiviDaV you can now surprise yourself with “Mixed pasta” with lamb sauce, aubergine with sesame and Parmesan, the twist of the typical Cassoeula revisited with fish, pork sauce, soft egg with foam with Parmesan and grilled leek. And the dinner closes with delicious proposals such as hazelnut millefeuille and caramel ice cream, made with Misto Chiavari hazelnuts from Val Sturla and Montebianco.

Among the other seasonal specialties, the white truffle becomes a great protagonist. In fact, among the first courses, egg tagliolini, white truffle and roast sauce stand out. And they are in the excellent company of 3 exclusive tasting menus of 3, 5 and 6 courses with always different proposals at the discretion of the chef.

“Sharing has always been in our DNA”, declares Head Chef Davide Galbiati. And it is an idea that will see its maximum expression in the Christmas Eve dinner, with an appetizer to be shared among all the diners for an atmosphere of relaxed harmony.

Food and wine events
After the appointment with Dom Pérignon on October 29, the food and wine appointments continue on November 19 in the company of Veuve Clicquot’s Grand Dame Vintages.

Instead, December 3rd will see the white truffle as the protagonist. In fact, there will be a dinner event that will take place at the same time in all the DaV and Da Vittorio restaurants. It will be followed on December 10 by the appointment with the French bubbles of the Italian entrepreneur Alberto Massucco.

The traditional appointments with dinner on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve dinner and brunch on January 1st will close the season.
