The Verdura Resort golf course has been awarded

The Sicilian resort of Rocco Forte Hotels has been awarded the recognition of “Best Course” and “Best Resort” in the new Golf World ranking which includes all the best courses in Italy. A great result achieved only 9 months after the reopening following the important restyling that enriched the splendid field of new features

Green enthusiasts have one more reason to choose the Verdura Resort golf course. In fact, the East Course of the resort, destination Rocco Forte Hotels on the southern coast of Sicily, obtained the highest marks in the Golf World list of the “100 best courses in Italy“.

And that’s just 9 months after it reopened following a major refurbishment project by acclaimed golf architect Kyle Phillips. The extensive refurbishment saw the addition of a number of features and changes made to the path of both camps.

Furthermore, the reconfiguration of the holes has allowed the restoration of the previous holes and makes new additions. Instead, the planting of fescue herbs along the entire route gives the field a more defined layout.
