BluFennec, the luxury travel brand, is born

BluFennec

BluFennec is the umbrella brand that brings together the tour operators: Ruta40, Gabbiano Livingston, Carréblu and Upperail. And each company boasts a long and deep specialization in specific sectors of luxury travel

BluFennec

Ruta40, the tour operator specializing in South America for tailor-made trips along lesser-known routes, launches BluFennec.

This is a brand that, in addition to Ruta40, includes some companies already known in the luxury tourism sector. Namely Upperail, the first tour operator in Italy dedicated solely to the luxury train segment, Gabbiano Livingston specializing in transatlantic flights with small planes and Carréblu, specializing in the most fascinating seas on the planet.

The new logos
Fabrizio Alotto, an emerging illustrator from Turin, has created new logos for the brand’s businesses.

Ruta40

The “Ruta40” logo is a visual invitation to adventure and discovery. In fact, the silhouette of a Jimmy off-road vehicle winding along a winding road immediately evokes the call of freedom and travel.

The use of Deep Green to color the square that frames the sinuous curve of the road was a targeted choice to best communicate the infinite potential for exploration.

And the connection with uncontaminated nature. So the new Ruta40 logo becomes a symbol of a journey that goes beyond destinations.

Carrèblu

The Carrèblu logo is a visual journey through the essence of luxury and marine peace. The vibrant shade of Turquoise Blue was chosen to immediately capture attention, evoking the sense of serenity and the infinite charm of the sea.

Furthermore, the stylized “e” is transformed into a sailboat, an emblem of freedom, adventure and discovery, which ploughs the sea with a peaceful and sinuous manner.

The blue square symbolizes the vastness of the sea, an invitation to explore crystalline waters and luxury destinations.

Gabbiano Livingston

BluFennec

The Gabbiano Livingston logo is a visual statement of uniqueness and adventure. It evokes the essence of flight and discovery.

The choice of Red Ochre for the logo deliberately recalls the vibrant African landscapes, instilling a sense of warmth and authenticity. Finally, the stylized “G” transforms into an airplane in flight, a symbol of freedom and aspiration to explore new horizons.

The new Gabbiano Livingston logo represents private tours and safaris in flight.

Upperail

The Upperail logo pays homage to the elegance of rail travel.

The Golden Brown hue was chosen to evoke a sense of luxury. While the stylised “U” that forms the base of the logo is complemented with a vintage railway and locomotive rising upwards.

This design not only visually represents the brand name, but also symbolises the idea of a journey that takes you to new heights of comfort and discovery.
