Coming to ME Ibiza is Ángel León, multi-award-winning chef with a temporary Pop Up restaurant
ME Ibiza is celebrating its seasonal reopening with extraordinary news: a partnership with Ángel León, the “Chef of the Sea” and winner of several awards who will be serving his innovative cuisine in a Pop-Up restaurant located on the iconic rooftop of the hotel until September 2018.
Born in Andalusia in 1977, Ángel León is an absolute genius of marine gastronomy, and a pioneer in the use of unusual and original ingredients, such as plankton and algae.
Leon’s culinary pop-up proposes the recipes that brought fame to Aponiente, the restaurant in Cadiz awarded with 3 Michelin Stars in the 2018 edition of the Guide.
Considered the place to be on the island, ME Ibiza overlooks the bay of Santa Eulalia, offering 205 elegantly designed rooms and suites. The panoramic top floor Radio Rooftop Bar is a destination in itself at any time of the day: it has a stunning infinity pool to linger in on sunny summer afternoons, and is an ideal venue for a drink with a 360° view over the bay. Equally welcoming is the CODAGE Spa, where you can be pampered with treatments and personalised rituals, and the perfect spot for relaxing with Yoga classes at sunset.
ME by Meliá, the lifestyle brand of the Meliá Hotels International group, currently has 8 hotels.
