Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda has been awarded for the fifth time as the “Best SPA in Europe” and for the fourth time as the “Best Signature Treatment” at the “European Health & SPA Awards”. In addition to this award, conferred during the Gala ceremony held in the Grand Hotel Wien, there is also the recognition for the “Best Signature Treatment 2019” for the innovative Lefay SPA I Colours of Man treatment.
This confirms Lefay Resort & SPA’s identity as a multi-award-winning SPA Destination, a “holistic work of art”, for the third year in a row as the “Best SPA in Europe” and for the second in a row as the “Best Treatment”. The “European Health & SPA Awards”, considered among the highest awards for Brands in the fields of wellness, health and cosmetics, are handed out on the basis of specific scores, which are given by specialized judges.
As regards The Colours of Man energy massages, the rebalancing power and the prolonged effect of the energizing action were emphasized: according to Classical Chinese Medicine, wellbeing corresponds to the interior balancing of two fundamental forces, Yin and Yang. They represent two opposite and complementary flows that are present both in nature and in man.
Depending on the guest’s energetic constitution, these massages restore the harmony between Yin and Yang, influencing the wellbeing of the body in its totality. On the basis of the difficulty presented by the guest, they are classified into five different variants (White, Black, Red, Blue, and Yellow and Green): each colour is associated with specific manual skills that act on certain meridians and energy points, regulating problems such as lifestyle disorder, stress, poor circulation, tiredness, anxiety and sadness.
The treatment concludes with moxibustion, a therapeutic practice of Chinese Medicine that consists of heating skin areas with the aim of strengthening the results of a treatment or an energy massage. Its name comes from “Moe Kusa”, which in Japanese means “burning grass”.
