Lefay Eco-Resorts reopen in Northern Italy

After closure due to the global pandemic, Lefay Resorts & Residences has announced the new opening dates of its properties in Northern Italy: Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti will reopen on June 25, and Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda on July 2.
The resorts are re-opening with three new offers, including two designed to eliminate stress, following lockdown.

During this time, the Team has worked intensively to welcome back Guests. In collaboration with the Lefay SPA Scientific Committee and following the guidelines issued by the World Health Organisation as well as national and local authority recommendations, “Lefay Care” has been created: this protocol provides responsible measures to stop the spread of COVID-19, whilst continuing to offer the true essence of the Lefay experience. This programme fulfils the resort’s operational standards certified ISO9001and ISO14001 by TÜV, which are constantly under review.

The well-being and safety of people have always been important values at Lefay.  The resorts are located within outstanding natural settings: in Northern Lake Garda Park and Adamello Brenta Natural Park, where Guests can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities.

The facilities feature wide spaces (suites from 50 sqm and spas from 3,800 sqm) that  allow social distancing without too much effort.  At first the properties will offer a limited number of suites to ensure maximum individual space.

Some of the specific measures include:

• An innovative sanitisation system of all areas that uses the automatic release of active substances into the ventilation channels with a broad-spectrum effect on viruses and bacteria.
• The complete sanitation of all equipment available to Guests and of vehicles for transfer services after each use.
• The measurement of body temperature of Guests and Staff through thermal scanners.
• The digitisation of check-in procedures to reduce the interaction with the Reception Staff.
• A limited number of Guests to access the spa and fitness areas.
• The replacement of buffets with à la carte service and the possibility for Guests to consult the restaurants’ menus using their smartphone via QR Code.
• Serological/immunological tests regularly carried out on the Staff, along with specific training sessions dedicated to the new safety measures.
