Four Seasons Hotel Milano, symbol of the city of fashion and design par excellence, returns to welcome guests with a new metropolitan and cosmopolitan style signed by the designer and architect Patricia Urquiola. For a timeless allure that reserves unmissable surprises
Four Seasons Hotel Milano is today all to be discovered. To fall in love with it even more. To discover the elegance upgrade. In fact, the hotel has been renovated in the common areas, the restaurant, the bar and the charming garden, maintaining the charm and sophisticated beauty that have made it an icon since the nineties.
In fact, Four Seasons Hotel Milano opened its doors in 1993 inside the historic former 15th century convent. And it immediately became the reference point for the city and for travelers.
The 5-star has chosen the architect Patricia Urquiola for her new look. Urquiola today brings a new footprint to the hotel, a new design, the perfect setting for the iconic Four Seasons personalized service and its new offering.
The new Four Seasons Hotel Milano
The lobby welcomes guests with a space that changes character. The choice of neutral and light colors dialogues with the original frescoes of the former convent. The walls, on the other hand, are enriched with bronze inserts and mirrors.
The lightness of the chandeliers and light points, designed by Cassina, Aggiolight Custom Lamps and Flos, the fabrics and screens create an intimate and elegant atmosphere, while the distinctive coffered ceiling of the lobby, revisited with a double frame, becomes a timeless detail. of the new Four Seasons.
The furnishings are presented with iconic pieces from the collections of Italian brands such as Cassina, Poliform, Moroso, Poltrona Frau and Stepevi.
The new proposals for catering
From the lobby the space leads to the Zelo Restaurant, the new eclectic gastronomic address in Milan, led by Executive Chef Fabrizio Borraccino. The Zelo Restaurant has a new, dual identity and offer, becoming Zelo Bistrot during the day, with indoor and outdoor tables. Zelo Bistrot offers a menu full of delicious and light dishes. Instead, in the evening, Zelo offers a new à la carte menu and a surprise tasting menu.
The offer has been completely reworked according to the needs of the cosmopolitan clientele. Seasonality and sustainability are essential concepts in the new Zelo proposal. Also opens a new space, the Bar Stilla. It is located inside the lobby and outside in the renovated historic garden. It is a place to meet at any time, from coffee in the morning to a snack during working hours, to an aperitif in the evening.
To the left of the lobby, the elegant semicircular counter dictates the lines of the spaces, thanks to cognac-colored leather armchairs and velvet seats as well as sofas in shades of red and dark green. The aperitif menu is entrusted to the well-known bar manager Luca Angeli. The menu of the Bar Stilla also includes “smart food healthy” proposals, with seasonal and sustainable ingredients.
Camino becomes a multipurpose space. In fact, it has a cellar corner for tasting fine wines carefully selected by the sommelier Lorenza Panzera.
The new garden
The garden inside the elegant cloister also becomes an extension of the Stilla Bar and the Zelo Restaurant. It was created by the expert landscape architect and agronomist Flavio Pollano – a connoisseur of “vertical green”, botany and garden design.
The garden is also the place dedicated to good drinking and eating with the new Crudo Bar. It creates the ideal atmosphere so that the aperitif time extends into the evening thanks to the pleasure of enjoying the delicacies offered while listening to the music of the DJ.
Finally, for the works of art, contemporary artists have been chosen who celebrate the history and past of the hotel with the imprint of the present and an eye to the future. Among them, Sophie Ko, Matthew Shlian, Vanessa Beecroft, Crow Studio, Joergen Craig Lello & Tobias Arnell, lrene Kung, Massimo Listri and Louise Mertens.
Completed the first phase of renovation, Four Seasons Hotel Milano reopens its doors and begins the second phase of the restyling. This involves the rooms, suites and meeting rooms.
