Built in 1912 as a private residence, it was transformed into a hotel more than 60 years ago by Antonietta Lauro, “grandmother Etta” great-grandmother and grandmother of the person who currently manages the hotel.

Vesuvio Panoramic Restaurant is the hotel’s main restaurant. An elegant, refined and romantic place with an incredible view of the Gulf of Naples, the islands and of course the Volcano! It has a refined but welcoming design.

The room has been decorated with various “tributes” to Vesuvius, starting from the works of the Neapolitan artist Gennaro Regina up to the buffet tables and some dishes made of lava. The cuisine proposed here by Executive Chef Giuseppe Saccone is strongly regional. The aim is to make both Italian and international tourists discover the great food and wine tradition of the Campania region.

In this sense, the choice of raw materials is of fundamental importance. The search for the best producers who follow natural and traditional methods guarantees authentic and surprising flavors.

The typical products of the Sorrento Peninsula stand out, many with the IGP and DOP brands, such as Provolone del Monaco, extra virgin olive oil from Vico Equense, citrus fruits and walnuts. Great attention is also paid to homemade pasta and leavened products.

Aqua Pool Lounge is a beautiful green space by the pool, where delicious summer lunches are served. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. The menu focuses on simple preparations that combine local products (treccia and Sorrento tomatoes, gnocchi alla sorrentina, grilled local fish) with some must-haves of international cuisine (Caesar salad, club sandwiches, hamburgers).

A prominent place in the gastronomic offer is reserved for wood-fired pizza, available in many different versions that use local products. During the summer, once a week, this place is transformed to host splendid dinner shows that see different companies of artists perform in dance, singing and choreographic scenography shows.
