Four Seasons Hotel Milano amazes again. In fact, the iconic 5-star hotel brings the atmosphere of Courmayeur Mont Blanc to the city and opens the holiday season with the new Après-Ski. An enchanting dream setting between
snow-covered trees, warm blankets and historic cable cars that arrive directly from the Skyway Monte Bianco
This year, during the Christmas holidays, those who cross the threshold of the Four Seasons Hotel Milano will find themselves immersed in the magical atmosphere of Courmayeur by magic.
In fact, 2 of its historic gondola lifts from 1947 arrived directly from the Skyway Monte Bianco in the heart of the fashion district. Unusual and decidedly original locations where you can find yourself among the suggestions of Mont Blanc and experience the mood of the legendary Après-Ski of its famous slopes.
Après-Ski in the hotel’s exclusive garden – between vintage skis and warm blankets, under the Milan sky – is the place to meet for a drink or an aperitif, a glass of wine or champagne, a hot tea, such as on the snow. And in collaboration with the Skyway F&B team, the Bartender Luca Angeli and the Executive Chef Fabrizio Borraccino have studied a dedicated menu that recalls the atmosphere of this destination and uses its local products.
All the spaces experience this vibrant “on the snow” atmosphere. In fact, it is a succession of installations and iconic objects. For example, in the lobby a carousel of “chairlifts” hovers above the iconic ceiling and Stilla Bar welcomes you among its snow-covered trees. Instead in Camino a futuristic two-dimensional forest is revealed. It is full of light and with enveloping fabric details that warm up the atmosphere.
From Stilla Bar to Zelo Restaurant, everything dresses up in winter, with lanterns and garlands decorating the tables. To dine while admiring the magnificent garden inside the charming 15th century former convent and experience the brand new Après-Ski in Milan.
Inevitable in the style of personalized service signed by Four Seasons is also the thrill of new experiences created thanks to this collaboration with Courmayeur. Hotel guests can leave Milan to experience a special day, choosing different adventures.
For example a day of skiing or snowboarding, the adrenaline Heliski, dog sledding. Or an exciting scenic flight or a relaxing snowshoe hike. During each activity, guests will also be able to discover a gourmet experience in one of the most exclusive addresses in the destination.
The festive atmosphere at the Four Seasons Hotel Milano is conceived and created by the Creative Director Vincenzo Dascanio and cannot do without the delights of the Pastry Chef Daniele Bonzi. Once again this year it bakes the traditional Christmas cake for its guests. It is for sale only in the hotel.
Finally, for 24 and 25 December and for New Year’s Eve, Chef Fabrizio Borraccino has created new special menus at the Zelo Restaurant.
