Ca’ Pisani Deco Design Hotel in Venice now enriches the accommodation offer of Planetaria Hotels, the hotel company of the Vedani family.
The official presentation of the new entry took place on June 25th at Chateau Monfort, the group’s exclusive Milanese hotel, in the presence of customers, press, friends and collaborators, with the perfect recreation of the atmosphere of Venice.
It was the architect Gioia Sofia Vedani, CEO of Planetaria Hotels who announced it, supported by Damiano Decrescenzo, Managing Director and Filippo Lunardi, General Manager of Cà Pisani.
Excitement and pride for this acquisition which brings the number of four and five star hotels in Portolio to 12. Planetaria Hotels, with its own philosophy of hospitality, celebrates the most refined and authentic Italian hotel tradition, maintaining the personality of each of its hotels.
Ca’ Pisani is a 4-star boutique hotel characterized by a unique artistic atmosphere and is located in the Dorsoduro district, a few steps from the Accademia Galleries in Venice.
Housed inside a late 14th century Venetian palace, it is the first Design Hotel in the city. The interiors have been revisited in a modernist and art deco style. Here suggestions evoked by futurism coexist harmoniously with the original historical furnishings of the 1930s and 1940s. And with a collection of rare vintage objects and vases.
The Ca’ Pisani Deco Design Hotel has 29 rooms, including 4 Junior Suites, with attention to the smallest details to offer a charming experience. In fact, the warm tones of beige, ocher and brown expertly match the original furnishings from the 1930s and 1940s. And to collectible design elements.

The Restaurant Bar La Rivista, also open to external guests, shares the same futuristic soul that characterizes all the internal spaces of the hotel. The dark wood furniture, the original wave counter from the 1940s as well as the references to futurism create a refined environment.

The restaurant offers a menu based on dishes inspired by the Venetian tradition. For example, the typical “cicheti”, the local appetizers which are a true culinary “must” during a stay in the lagoon.

“Ca’ Pisani is a home where art and design meet in a natural way, a welcoming place that transmits love for beauty and attention to detail: characteristics that immediately qualified it as a perfect complement to our idea of hospitality in places with a soul and deeply anchored to their territory” states the Arch. Sofia Gioia Vedani, CEO of the Planetaria Hotels group.

“We are particularly proud of this new acquisition which crowns a path of constant growth and consolidates our image as a group, and last but not least offers our guests the opportunity to experience an unforgettable stay under the banner of our claim ‘be as you are’ in Venice, one of the most fascinating cities in the world.”

The growth of Planetaria Hotels The entry of Ca’ Pisani Deco Design Hotel brings the number of four and five star hotels in the Planetaria Hotels portfolio to 12. Strengthened by the success of the first openings in Milan, the Vedani family’s project has gradually become more ambitious.

Synergies for sustainable approaches

For me, being at the helm of Cà Pisani – says hotel director Filippo Lunardi – is an honor and a privilege; it is a structure of great architectural merit with incredible potential.
Together with the whole team we will work to make it a city point of reference for the valorisation of the artistic and cultural heritage of Venice, collaborating with art galleries and local artisan businesses, developing useful synergies to promote new sustainable approaches”.
The general director of Planetaria Hotels Damiano De Crescenzo concludes: “Each of our hotels represents, interprets and enhances the spirit and identity of the place in a unique way. For this reason we do not impose chain standards, but only guidelines that help local teams to become ambassadors of our genuine approach to hospitality.
The “new” Ca’ Pisani will be an even warmer and more welcoming place, where the beauty and prestige of the location and the city will be sublimated by the attentive and warm welcome and the skilful blend of sensory stimulation that distinguish all Planetaria Hotels.”
