There is great news for those who love slow, luxury and refined tourism. It is called Coquelicot, A Belmond Boat, Champagne, and is the new luxury boat in the Belmond fleet, the pioneer brand in the luxury travel industry.
From next May it will travel through the Champagne region, in a fairytale landscape between scenic canals.
In addition, to make the journey of its guests even more special, Coquelicot will collaborate with Maison Ruinart, the oldest champagne house in the world. In fact it was founded in Reims in 1729.
On board the new vessel, guests will be able to savor a tasting lunch prepared by the chef of the Maison Ruinart, Valérie Radou, together with the head chef of Coquelicot. Note: this is the first time that the chef of Maison Ruinart prepares a private 4-handed lunch away from home.
Guests will participate in private guided tours of the historic Taissy vineyard, where they will also discover the brand’s latest sustainability initiatives.

Designed by the French duo Humbert & Poyet, the Coquelicot boasts an impressive open deck, 3 double cabins with private marble bathrooms and an inside lounge. But it’s the main deck that’s the icing on the cake. In fact it consists of 2 living rooms, an open kitchen and a shaded dining area.
