The Olmo family, owner of Tenuta Artimino, entrusts the management of the hotel to Meliá Hotels International. The Tuscan resort thus becomes part of The Meliá Collection brand.
Located at the gates of Chianti, Artimino was born as an ancient Etruscan settlement. Then it was a medieval village and later a hunting residence of the Medici family.
On the property, covering over 700 hectares, there is the Paggeria Medicea, a charming hotel, housed in an early 17th century building and a gourmet restaurant. The news for the 2022 season
The property is engaged in important restyling works for an enhancement of the areas of the complex. For example, suites and common areas, inside and outside the hotel and a third swimming pool. And the renovation of the Pheasant lodge.
The works will be completed by the end of March, in time for the opening of the Artimino Estate for the 2022 season.
