“Welcoming design” is born, the first higher education course in the world, dedicated to professionals working in the relational services sectors. The target? Savor the experiences you live to the fullest! The path is the result of the collaboration between UNO – Milan: “University of Hospitality” and the POLI.design of the Politecnico di Milano

The first advanced training course in “Welcoming design” was born in Milan. Unique in the international training panorama.

Born from an encounter between ‘different souls’ but each in its own way the bearer of one Presented with an event at the Villa Reale in Monza on 23 September, the course sees UNO – Milan: “University of Hospitality” and POLI.design of the Politecnico di Milano operate in synergy.

The first advanced training course in “Welcoming design” aims to create a course of excellence which aims to train professionals in the fields of relational services, and make them active in the management of physical and virtual experience.

Its characterizing element? An empathic approach to welcoming. In fact, the path ranges from Proxemics to Experience Design, from NLP to Color Design Moments of individual and group lessons will alternate with activities and practical exercises.

“Welcoming design”: The goal of the course

The goal is to train professionals able to intervene in the proposition, planning and coordination of services from an experiential perspective. Not only that. But also to anticipate and govern relational and behavioral dynamics by developing an empathic, proactive and constructive attitude.

 

The course, enhancing the polytechnic approach, aims to enhance the cultural, behavioral and social components that influence the experiential dimension.
Experience at the center Stefano Scaroni, entrepreneur and founder of UNO Srl underlines: “The new course in Welcoming design responds to a specific need for care and attention to the needs of the guest, giving great importance to the relationship with him and combining soft and hard skills with the intention to train junior managers who are attentive not only to the technical aspects but also more widely cultural “.
The idea, in fact, aimed at young people who want to open up to the professions of a world in full evolution, is to build cultural, behavioral and social skills capable of determining the experiential dimension of the guests who visit our country and our accommodation facilities, both in physical and virtual mode.
The training course foresees the attendance of 120 hours divided into 2 lessons per week for the duration of 10 weeks. Access is subject to passing a rigorous test to identify 20 deserving students.
Awarded HonoraryFellowships
The presentation evening of the course also contributed to launching a path of involvement aimed at those companies interested in the success of the “Welcoming design” training offer. It also saw the award of HonoraryFellowship to prominent personalities and reference for the values ​​and philosophy of the course.
Among these, Carlo Riva, president of L’Abilità, a non-profit association that develops and manages innovative services and projects for children with disabilities and their families in the areas of accessibility and inclusion and Alessandro Pipero, considered by many to be the greatest maître of Italy.
