Here is a selection of courses not to be missed to improve your skills:
1 The Apulian hotel group Talea Collection has entered into a partnership with Treccani Accademia for the training of new managerial figures in the world of hospitality and tourism.
The Masters are: “Tourism: experience design & destination management”and “Burgundy in Puglia. A journey to discover one of the most important wine producing regions in the world”.
An entire module of the Master “Tourism: experience design & destination management” will be managed by Talea Collection with its top management with lessons on the theme of Experiences, a key concept today for every traveler when choosing a destination.
The Master “Burgundy in Puglia” will take place at the Masseria Il Melograno in Monopoli. It includes 10 lessons held by the critic, writer and popularizer Armando Castagno.
2 Mangia’s, an Italian hospitality operator with 13 resorts between Sicily and Sardinia, invests in the preparation of its human capital through the activities of Mangia’s Academy.
Now in its eighth edition, it is a path of advanced hotel training.
Through the involvement of international partners and professional trainers, it has involved 200 employees since March 2023 for 3 weeks. The academy, totally free, is aimed at Mangia’s employees. The lessons take place in Sciacca.
The courses activated for this edition are: cooking, sushi, pastry, bar, dining room staff, entertainment team, receptionist, guest agent, bell boy, housekeeping, controller and general manager. There will also be a series of meetings: “Rediscovering the “Life Skills” to live in balance”.
Each course is in turn structured into training modules based on the specialization. It also includes a final one-week internship.
3 The Cerea family opens the doors of Da Vittorio Academy to its employees.
They are advanced training courses reserved for those who wish to deepen their skills in specific branches of haute cuisine.
The staff of the Da Vittorio Group can access free of charge professional courses created in collaboration with specialized partners.
The courses range from the world of mixology (with ABI Professional) to the management of communication with the customer (thanks to the contribution of the expert Anna Fonseca), from the world of cheese (together with Onaf, the National Organization of Cheese Tasters) to that of sommellerie (with ASPI) and coffee (with Lavazza).
