Adrian Messerli as a member of the company’s top team will have responsibility for over 40 hotels, resorts and residences. The new president of hotel operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa of Four Seasons, a graduate of the École hôtelière de Lausanne, boasts a long career in the leading luxury group
Global luxury hospitality leader Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has appointed Adrian Messerli as president of hotel operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Four Seasons is strengthening its presence in all macro regions of the global market, from the Americas to Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) to Asia-Pacific (APAC).
So Messerli finds himself leading a team of specialists in the growing EMEA region, who will support properties and their experiential offerings with total attention to guests, partners and owners.
Born in the Swiss Alps, the fourth generation of a hôtelier family, it is no surprise that Messerli pursued a career in the hospitality industry. Before joining Four Seasons in 2005, he earned a degree from the École hôtelière de Lausanne.
Messerli’s long career with Four Seasons has seen him take on increasing responsibilities during his assignments in the United States, the Caribbean, South America and China. And also in Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
After the positions of General Manager in the Seychelles and Shanghai. He was most recently Regional Vice President and General Manager of the award-winning Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences in Madrid.
In addition to his restaurant work, he was a member of the company’s Global Spa Task Force. Outside of Four Seasons, he is an active member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. Finally he is a founding member of a cooking school in Evora, Portugal.
