Great anticipation for the edition of the Best Luxury Hotel Awards. In fact, it is the new recognition of the excellence of Italian hospitality conceived and organized by Teamwork Hospitality with the contribution of Elle Decor and EHMA-European Hotel Manager Association.
The event was made official in January 2024, and to date over 200 nominations have been collected. That is, more than 30% of the 5-star luxury hotels present in Italy.
There are 10 award categories. That is: best service, restaurant, bar, breakfast, spa & wellness, sustainability, technology, design, new opening, general manager. Among these, the categories best general manager and best service have received the most attention.
In over 20 years, the growth of the 5-star offer in Italy has been around 250%. Also thanks to new international players who have invested in the national territory. For example, Baccarat, Corinthia, Cheval Blanc, The Ritz Carlton and Airelles.
“The Best Luxury Hotel Awards,” says Mauro Santinato, President of Teamwork Hospitality, the company that promotes the award, “celebrate the excellence of Italian hospitality in all its aspects, from the best guest service to the best technological innovation.
