Hotel d’Inghilterra Rome – Starhotels Collezione riopens

Hotel d’Inghilterra Roma

After an extraordinary renovation, the Hotel d’Inghilterra Rome reopens. The capital thus reclaims a jewel restored to its original splendor. Master craftsmen have given the Hotel d’Inghilterra a new authentic splendor, perfectly integrating touches of Made in Italy design

The Hotel d’Inghilterra Roma – Starhotels Collezione returns to its former glory.

After an extensive renovation of the historic façade protected by the Fine Arts, the rooms and suites, the Cafè Romano restaurant and the intimate lounges that for centuries have welcomed artists, writers and travellers from all over the world.

The hotel was born as a private residence for guests of Palazzo Torlonia, located directly opposite. Since its transformation into a hotel in the mid-19th century, it has become a refuge for the international elite.

Also thanks to its innate elegance and magnificent location just a few steps from Piazza di Spagna and Via Condotti.

The restyling project was curated by the Group’s team of designers, coordinated in all phases of work by Elisabetta Fabri, President and CEO of Starhotels, in complete respect of the hotel’s extraordinary heritage.

This meticulous approach also involved the conservation of historic architectural elements, as well as the restoration of precious antique furniture and furnishings.

To bring back the timeless elegance of the hotel, the spaces have been redesigned, taking inspiration from the atmospheres that fascinated travellers during the Grand Tour.

The renovation involved artisans, as part of the “La Grande Bellezza – The Dream Factory” initiative. That is, the contemporary patronage project conceived by Starhotels to support Italian savoir faire.

ust like in a welcoming home, the rooms and suites – reduced from 84 to 80 to leave more space for the luxurious interiors – each boast a distinct character and design.

The furnishings alternate antique pieces from the hotel’s collection, finely restored, with creations of contemporary high craftsmanship, giving the hotel new authenticity.

The famous Cafè Romano restaurant, expanded and transformed into a true Roman lounge for moments of conviviality, will unveil a renewed gastronomic experience in the coming weeks.

To complete the offer, the Hotel d’Inghilterra will soon present a new and intimate SPA.

Finally, an exclusive rooftop terrace, which will allow you to admire the Eternal City from a privileged perspective.
