THE GLAMOUR HOTEL EVENT in two extraordinary evenings in Milan and Rome, all the glamor of the hotel industry. The 2024 editions reconfirm the event as unmissable meeting moment for the top hospitality players.
Privileged lounge to meet colleagues and friends, discuss and intercept opportunities. In a relaxed and ‘easy chic’ atmosphere, smiles, chats, great ideas, projects, music, good food. And time to pleasantly share
THE GLAMOUR HOTEL EVENT Rome 2024 took place on Tuesday 4 June and like the Milan edition on 21 May it was a success.
The reconfirmation of one of the events dedicated to the top players in hospitality who break away from commitments and operations for an evening to meet up.
In fact, year after year The Glamour Hotel Event has grown, and today it confirms itself as the undisputed ‘place to be’ with its 2 annual editions.
A truly elite salon for the professionals of the world of luxury hospitality. That is, owners of independent hotels and hotel groups, CEOs or managing directors of international chains, real estate developers, general managers, brand development and purchasing managers, architects, interior designers, advisors.
An unmissable event not only to meet colleagues and friends but also to build new relationships and intercept opportunities. In a relaxed and ‘easy chic’ atmosphere, smiles, chats, great ideas, projects, music, good food, time to share.
Privileged places to meet and discuss new openings and development. Milan and Rome are increasingly aligning their high-quality hotel offerings with international standards and contributing to making Italy a destination with strong appeal for ‘high profile’ tourists from all over the world.
One thing is certain, everyone agrees on the trends that define the new variations of luxury: innovation, sustainability, design and authentic experiences for guests.
The locations of THE GLAMOUR HOTEL EVENT
The locations chosen for the 2 cocktail parties of The Glamour Hotel Event fully represent the two cities. The enchanting garden of VMaison Hotel in Milan, an eclectic boutique hotel in the heart of Brera, and the extraordinary Roof Top with breathtaking views of the Eternal City of the Bulgari Hotel Roma, the ninth gem of the maison’s exclusive collection of luxury hotels and resorts, for an evening of the most refined hospitality.
Overlooking Piazza Augusto Imperatore, in the heart of the Campo Marzio district, the hotel represents the perfect synthesis between the past, with the legacy of the Roman Empire, and the present, with its iconic and contemporary design.
In Milan the cocktail party featured the appetizing proposals of Stendhal, a historic name in Milanese catering, with the famous ‘Stendhal’ courgette flowers, Sicilian caponata and mezze sleeves alla norm with salted ricotta.
While in Rome, sophisticated dishes such as chopped red prawns, oil and lemon, fried prawns, tubettoni with lobster ragù and raspberry tart, carefully prepared by the La Terrazza staff, delight the palate. All accompanied by lively bubbles of Ruinard champagne and signature ‘Bulgari’ cocktails.
In Milan, the entertainment of The Glamour Hotel Event featured the persuasive voice of Daniela Bessia, an internationally renowned artist, musician, actress and television personality.
Instead in Rome the choreography of The Glamor Hotel Event was entrusted to BLUNOTTE, one of the most prestigious names in the entertainment sector which, with its refined artists, was able to give guests an enveloping and vibrant sensorial journey with live performances of dancing and singing, alternating with a DJ set.

Rome and Milan, the hôtellerie expands its offer
The Capital was the protagonist of the most important transaction concluded in our country last year, with 2.6 million euros paid for each of the 95 rooms, with the sale of the Six Senses hotel in Rome.
The forecasts for the summer are, meanwhile, positive: according to data from Str Costar the estimated employment rate rises by 9%. Not only that, there will be no shortage of openings by various hotel groups: Corinthia Hotels will arrive in the capital, following a partnership with the English fund Reuben Brothers which acquired the former headquarters of the Central Bank of Italy. The new luxury hotel Corinthia Rome will be built in the building this summer.
Near Piazza Venezia, there will be the Radisson Collection Hotel, Ancient Rome, following the restoration of Palazzo Lares Permarini.
Romeo Roma of the Romeo Collection group will be located in a historic palace from the late 1500s, the ancient home of the noble Serroberti-Capponi family and will have 74 rooms and suites.
The hotel will also have a restaurant designed by Alain Ducasse. Last but not least Mandarin Oriental will open its fifth property in Italy by 2026. Partner in the project is Merope Asset Management, an Italian real estate investment and development company. Mandarin Oriental Rome will be built in an area between Via Piemonte and Via Sallustiana, within the Gardens of Sallustio, an ancient Roman archaeological site with ten nineteenth-century villas immersed in a lush park.
Milan will also be the stage for several prestigious new developments: Rocco Forte House will open in the summer in via Manzoni 46, in a building renovated based on a project by Asti Architetti with interiors designed by Olga Polizzi, director of design of Rocco Forte Hotels, and Paolo Moschino for Nicholas Haslam.
Eleven apartments, where guests will have access to the fitness center in the basement and the intimate café designed in the courtyard on the ground floor. Also arriving are two brands from Sircle Collection, a hospitality management and development company based in Amsterdam: the first is Max Brown Missori, located a short distance from the famous Milanese square, in via Lentasio 3 in the building that housed the old Hotel Ascot.
The second is Sircle Milano, a hotel with 71 penthouses inside the Velasca Tower, located near Piazza Missori. Finally Calimala, in via Melzo 7, in the Porta Venezia area, a hotel with 90 rooms, equipped with a gym, 2 rooftops, bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Structures that increase accommodation that already has an offer of 671 hotels, of which 26 are luxury, a stable number compared to 2019, when there were 25 5-star hotels.
Great anticipation for the opening of a luxury lifestyle hotel of the Marriott chain in Piazzetta Bossi, near the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, with a project by the studio Asti Architetti with Artelia Italia and Proges Engineering and interiors by the Studio Urquiola.
But the high-end Milanese inaugurations do not end here: in 2024 it will be the turn of Carlton Hotel, W Milan Duomo (Palazzo Matteotti, ex Boscolo), Hotel Milano (Sd Hotels), The Plein Hotel and Residence Club Milano, while for 2025 there will be JK Place Milan, Rosewood Milan and Edition Milan. In 2026 it will be the turn of Six Senses Milano and Hotel Duomo Milano Via Dogana.
